AV Equipment Loan Pool

Policies and Procedures


  • The only equipment available for loan, on the UConn Health campus, together with the fee, is:

    Laptop N/A
    LCD projector $10
    Overhead projector $7
    Overhead Screen $7
    Slide projector $7
    Toshiba LCD TV $10
    Videocassette player, TV, and cart $10

    Eligible users: UConn Health faculty, staff and students, as well as UConn faculty providing classroom instruction at UConn Health may use the loan pool. A UConn Health Library card is required.

    Hours available: The AV Loan pool equipment is available for loan during regularly scheduled library hours.

    Booking: Reservations may be made for future use of the AV Loan Pool Equipment by calling (860) 679-3808 during regularly scheduled library hours.

    Fees: Fees accumulate until the equipment is returned. Fees are charged on a per day basis. The first fee day starts when the equipment is loaned. The second and subsequent fee days start two hours after the library opens on each successive day.

    Payment: UConn Health faculty and staff may pay fees using current FOAPAL account coding. UConn faculty may make payment through a state transfer invoice or FOAPAL account coding, if appropriate. UConn Health students are not charged for equipment loaned in conjunction with their curricular program.
