EndNote - Bibliographies made easy. Learn how to use this tool to search online bibliographic databases, organize the references and build lists of cited works automatically.
Mendeley - Learn how to use this free desktop and web program for managing and sharing research papers, discovering research data, and collaborating online. This class will teach you the fundamentals of setting up an account, adding citations, inserting citations into Word documents, and how to set up collaborative groups.
PubMed - Learn how to search Medline directly for up-to-date citations from the National Library of Medicine's PubMed System.
RefWorks - A Web-based bibliography and database manager. Like EndNote and Mendeley, it allows users to create their own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases. This class will also cover how to utilize these references in writing a paper, automatically formatting the paper and generating the bibliography using Write-n-Cite.
Scopus - Scopus is a database providing online searching of 27 million records covering articles from 14,000 peer-reviewed titles from more than 4,000 international publishers.
